It has been a long time since I released this app. Core users love it and hope it can help more people. So I cut down the price by half.
There are many apps on the macOS which can't be recognized by VoiceOver. Most of them are music apps (especially plugins) which not made with standard AppKit elements. So I made this OCR screen reader.
This app allows you to read most of the texts on the screen, while VoiceOver can't see them. Then using shortcuts, you can navigate between the items and click on one. Finally, you can install that plugin!
In the newest version, you can adjust the speech settings to match your preference. Also, there is an offline OCR engine for people who are concerned about privacy.
If you have any questions, you can email me or just leave a comment on this thread. Hope you have a good day.

no need because VOCR
VOCR is free so your solution may not be good enough to replace this one.
How does this compare to VOCR?
Any chance I can get a review copy of this to see how it compares to VOCR and cover it on my Blog/Youtube Channel? I covered VOCR here https://logic.band/vocr If it does something different and provides access in a way VOCR can't, I'd love to help spread the word about it. There is a link to email me on the blog.

I never tried VOCR. Maybe I will try it someday to see the difference.

I just tried VOCR, it seems VOCR can’t recognize language other than English (At least it not supporting CJK languages). My app can do that.
