How to logout from my iCloud account on macOS

Hi, I'm going to sell my MacBook Air with Monterrey 12.0.1, but I'm having a nightmare trying to logout from my iCloud account from the preference panel.

The apple support says I have to go to my Apple ID settings and there I have to press where it says something like description (at least that is the translation from the Spanish support) but the thing is that I have more than half-an-hour trying to find that option and there is no way that voiceover finds something similar.

Could someone explain me how to logout or if that stupid option has to be clicked by a sighted person?

thanks in advance.

You should be able to sign out by going to System Preferences > Apple ID, selecting overview in the table, and clicking sign out. Are you able to locate this button?

If your Mac has a T2 Security chip or Apple Silicon processor, you should be able to erase all content and settings on it from System Preferences by choosing System Preferences > Erase All Content and Settings. Just as it does on iOS and iPadOS, you should be prompted to enter your Apple ID and password before the erase process can commence, which will disable Find My and sign your Mac out of the account.

Hello Karina
go to:
System Preferences …
click in
Apple ID button
On this new window
you will find your name then right after your email account associated to your apple ID
There are 2 tables
the first table contain all info about your apple ID
the second table is where will find the options related to the item that you have selected from the first table

First make sure to turn off the option find my Mac
To do this fallow the next steps
remember you have to interactive in the tables in order to see the options
From the first table select

Then from the second table unselect find my Mac

Now lets go to Sign Out
Lets go back to the first table and select
