My Apple TV got stuck in explore mode this evening. I figured out how to get it out thanks to this forum, but I just can’t understand the purpose of it?
I don’t get why you’d navigate the TV like that. Does anyone here actually use it and if so, what for?

I have a recent thread that’s related to this.
I like explore mode because you can actually read through the individual pieces of content on the page. For example, I can navigate to a movie’s description or hear what year it was released. I can also go back and find out what row I’m in, like how they might have “movies you might enjoy” or “what’s trending now”. I really like it.
However, Apple has made the experience a little confusing (as I also explained in that other thread). The screenreader experience works consistently great on all other non-Apple TV devices. That’s my opinion.
Way to reach audio menu
Hi, has anyone found a way to consistently reach the audio menu inside the media player to be able to change from the audio described soundtrack to the standard? Its incredibly frustrating. I tried to ask Siri to do it but she wasn’t interested, I tried the actions rotor but nope again. Obviously the standard way was to swipe to the menu bar then right twice but this doesn’t work for me. I would really like the choice as iTunes content with audio descriptions is only in stereo but I have a £10k 9.1 system usually unused unless on Netflix where audio description is available in multi channel speaker soundtracks. iTunes which I’ve paid for are always only in stereo which wastes all those lovely speakers.
