Ever since I upgraded to ios 16, I haven't been able to get used to the new video layout. I mean, If i'm watching something in the tv app, the video is on full screen, but for the life of me I cant figure out how this works. I mean doubletapping the, video button, pauses and simultaneously shows controls like rewind, fastforward, etc, but its not consistent, I have to touch around the screen until I find the other controls, but I don't get this new layout. Could someone explain how does the new video window work on ios?

Did you update to the beta public 3 or beta 5? Is more stable and maybe you can use it now.

I'm on the latest public beta, beta 3. I don't get the commands though. For instance, if I doubletap on the video button, and I swipe right, I don't see the controls, I have to find them by touch.

I've said it before online and when training people on how to use iOS and I will say it again. Do not rely exclusively on swiping to get around iOS! You need to learn how to navigate your screen and know where things are on the screen. Swiping does not teach you what is where.
