I dunno what provoked them into supporting Windows--they do not explain--but it hardly needs me to explain why this is important to this community. Try it out, and say something.
There was an old version of the VMWare tech preview that I was using for a while until I switched to parallels. Does someone know if this new version supports the native Mac soundcard? The old one didn't, you needed a USB sound device plugged directly into the VM to get sound functioning.
I will be trying this out properly soon on my beta machine, but it looks like it supports audio in the settings. Given this is official support now, I'd be surprised if it isn't working.
