Full screen media player in iOS 16 beta, very inaccessible

Apple Beta Releases

The New media player layout in iOS 16 beta is very inaccessible. Keeping in mind that a user can pause and resume playback by double tapping, fast forward by double tap hold and flick right, rewind by double tap hold, and flick left, the percentage adjuster is a little unpredictable and doesn’t always work. Similarly the plague time index is no longer read out and the time left index is also no longer red out.

I’ve also encountered some unlabeled buttons throughout the player. I did create a bug report in the Feedback application. It is FB10416635 (Full screen Media player in Safari and TV app have to become an accessible. Adjustable time index no longer usable.).

This can be a pretty big issue if it’s left on addressed.

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

Hi,
I assume from your comments you are on iOS 16 beta 1. Beta 2 fixes a number of these issues, however, double tapping the media player still causes playback to pause immediately.
I have already reported this issue.
