apple scripting for adding vo features

hello guys,
I started recently to wander about the features that voice over lacks. then I struck me that apple scripts is some what helpful in that manner. can't anyone who is familiar with the language of scripting create some scripts that announce elements in specific program.
like announcing word count in word or other apps that have a script friendly guide.
I think this will allow the community to share quick scripts that makes the experience more smooth and may even fix some usage lags that happen due to the control being far or full of unneeded info.

also, learning how to create scripts on this website may help a lot of people in decreasing the time needed in doing anything.
