I have signed the petition, and even wanted to put down some money to boost it. However, I can only do payments with gift card credits. Therefore, my payment method are not supported. Oh well, let's hope my signature and my tweet will do.

So far, 71 people have signed. It would be great if we can get to 100.

Just a reminder, if people want to see BitLife accessible again, they should sign the partition. The goal is to get to 100. 27 signatures more and we'll send it to the developer.

I just signed and helped with my donation. Let's hope this game becomes accessible again.

That is great! We're up to 83 signatures. 17 more and we'll be at 100.

It feels like ages, especially now that we are so close. I will share it again on Facebook and see if I can get some of my own friends to sign.

I don't really know if 100 signatures will be enough for the developer to reconsider. the reason I say that is: let's say I make a product and 100 thousand poepel pay for it. I make it inaccessible. 10 percent say they now want me to revert the changes. I will not as it is only 10 percent so the majority that is the 90 percent will actually overrule the 10 percent who want this change. would I love to be wrong, yes I would, but normally it is majority over minority, unless and only unless you can make a very good, very clear use case about why you want change.

By Tristo on Saturday, May 28, 2022 - 06:12

I get that, and it is possible that they won't make the change but I thaught I'd try. Also, it makes no sense for them to keep the game inaccessible, because you have people who can't play the game who would love to pay the game, and who are willing to pay for the game. Therefore, making the game accessible will give the developers more money.

Why should it be 90% versus 10%, if it can be 90% +10%?

By KE7ZUM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 - 06:12

you would think it would be, but it normally is not. If I see that 100 of you out of my 5000 or even 100000 userbase want something I might not even bother especially if I am not the only one who helped in creating the product(s). and if I was I probably would not as it might take too much time to bring back the old code etc especially if I chucked it. That is just an example, again I am hoping I'm wrong. I too the game off of my phone personally as I got board but here's hoping this is a success. I've seen stranger things.

It would be great if we could send it to all players of BitLife. Right now, it's just AppleVis members who've seen this, and a few people on social media

could there be a way to contact maybe CNet or mac roomers? I follow those mags, but have never contacted them about such matters. also the mac geek gab podcast might also be able to help you.

Looks like we will be able to see what become of this. Now if only we can get the final two.

By Tristo on Saturday, May 28, 2022 - 06:12

I guess the next step is to send the partition to the developer and see what they say. We may need more than 100 signatures though.

I think the petition should be shared to spread awareness to the rest of the community that we exist. There's been a lot of controversy surrounding Bitlife recently, and I think the developers need to see that there are so many of us who enjoy this game. There are lots of people attacking them right now, and players complaining about the recent update, not realizing we exist, and that they were working on accessibility for us.

I must admit those twitfaces are the most disgusting fans I've ever seen. Lots of haters on there. I believe they are fully aware of our existence, just bloody spiteful.

I posted about how they had improved accessibility and it got lots of surprised reactions from people who hadn't even realized we played the game. It was on an unofficial subreddit.
