Me again, sorry! :)
Just wondering, is there any way of entering emojies while in braille screen input, or do we have to use the wroter, get out of bSI, then select the emojie keyboard? This is what I do currently. Thanks if anyone knows for sure

Emojis In BSI
Currently this feature is only available in the Messages app, but it's really useful. If you want to quickly write down emojis, just type the name of the emoji (i.e. grin, smile, laugh cry, etc) exit BSI and switch to your Emoji keyboard. Once that keyboard is selected, there should be an "Emoji" option in your rotor. Once that is selected, flick down to review the words VoiceOver has associated potential emoji replacements with and double-tap on the ones you want to change; sometimes only one emoji replacement will be available and other times VoiceOver will create a menu with different options to choose from. Aside from that you can probably use text replacement (I haven't experimented with that but I know others have) or just type emojis using Braille symbols like colons and parentheses. Hope this helps.
Thanks
I will try this thank you very much
Another option
Hey Kerie, and welcome back!
Another option could be to set up text replacement shortcuts for many of your favourite emojis. I donβt use Braille input myself, but do use this feature for emojis on the standard keyboard. For example if I type etu followed by space, it turns into ππ»
So if text replacement shortcuts work when typing with BSI, this could be a good option.
