hi, does this have yoga?

By Mark P on Monday, May 23, 2022 - 16:37

The developer, Tyler, puts up notifications in the app, which is called the dashboard. I quote, After the Build Your Own Workout series we will have a new Yoga programme released. Just to add, I know he will be adding the use of equipment at some stage. This isn't what I want but like I said, there's something for everyone.

As well as the large amount of work outs and lessons, 20 yoga lessons have been added to the classroom section of the app.
This is the prelude to the soon to be added yoga studio session: Full Body Yoga Flow.

Not many people have commented on this app as it sounds absolutely brilliant and what I have been looking for for such a long time.

However, when registering for the free trial I feel the developer is asking for to much personal details.

I have know problem giving out my e-mail address but why do you need to ask for my telephone number. This is not necessary and it putting me off signing up.

Does anybody else feel the same and is this why like me you haven't signed up?

By Mark P on Thursday, June 23, 2022 - 16:37

Hi Martin, I am guessing that he wants the contact details in case of folks getting into difficulties due to there particular health levels. Also he is running a community event challenge at the moment and will be sending out a yoga kit to the winner. I will ask Tyler to comment here so check back.

Hi Martin, thanks for the comment. Collecting both email and phone number during the sign-up process, as Mark indicated, has allowed me to offer a little better customer service when needed. It is also in the plans to have an option to secure your account further using your phone number, as well as account recovery functions, etc. As noted in the privacy policy and terms and conditions, this information will definitely not be shared with any third party. I hope that helps clarify.

I'm trying to sign up for the 14-day trial and everything seems to go well, but when I try to sign in afterward it tells me "invalid credentials". I tried changing my password in case I had typed something wrong in confirming it and I got the e-mail to change the password so I know I typed my e-mail right, did anyone else have a similar problem?

By Tyler Merren on Thursday, June 23, 2022 - 16:37

Hi Troy, Sorry for the trouble with this, but I took a look at your account on my admin panel and I think I know what is happening. I sent you an email, this should be an easy fix.

By Troy B on Thursday, June 23, 2022 - 16:37

I sent you an e-mail but I wanted to reply here too to thank you for the help with the problem, taking out the extra letter in the e-mail address was indeed what I needed to do and I am now signed up for the trial in the app.

A 25 minute beginner session has been added along with a 50 minute advance workout with flow sequences.

By Mark P on Monday, January 23, 2023 - 16:37

Tyler, our mostly beloved personal trainer has added a step challenge with prizes. Even if you can't get out he has cunningly added a couple fitness Studio session called Step With Me Cardio.
Also, in the classroom are now 2 Hacky Sack Kick and Hacky Sack reverse Kick lessons.
Personally looking forward to new updates especially Yoga stretches.

What will you find in the newest version of the program?
This updated version has a little something for everyone, and here is a quick run down of what you will find…

Current Users: Along with the bug fixes and security updates, 3 new resources have been added to the program that you’ll find under the “More” tab of the mobile app, and in the ribbon for the web app.
1.            Health and Fitness Guides: This is a section that will include lots of resources for learning about nutrition, making fitness accessible, sports for the blind, and so much more.
2.            Recommended Equipment: This section will include a list of equipment that is recommended for quality and accessibility, along with a link to a place where you can purchase the product.
3.            Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): This is a section where you can find answers to questions about the ReVision Fitness Program, questions about fitness and accessibility, and more.

Just like the Classroom and Fitness Studio, these are sections that will grow over time as we add new data, and your input will be crucial to making this a one stop resource for all the information needed  to bring fitness to the blind and visually impaired community.

New Users: After some feedback from the community, a couple of new elements have been added to the program to help new users jump in with a bit more ease.
1.            What is ReVision Fitness Page: Now on the landing screen, you will find 3 buttons, Log-in, Sign-up, and a “What is ReVision Fitness” button. This is a section that explains what the program is, shares an  introductory video and sample audio track, and answers some FAQ’s to help new users understand what the program is all about.
2.            Sign-up and Email Verification: To help with security and the sign-up process, new users will now have an email sent to them at sign-up with some information and a link to verify their account. Note that current users are already verified and will not need to complete this process.

Also, a few new dialog boxes to verify the completion of tasks and other elements have been added to help users confirm that they are on the right track.

Administrator: A couple new things for me to help the users gain a better experience have been added on the back end as well, hey, you guys can’t have all the fun here. 😉

I’m super excited to bring this update to you, and this is just the next step in a long progression that this program will go through. Thank you so much for your support as I pour my time and resources into this program to make it the best it can be for you and the entire community of blind and visually impaired.

The mission of this program has not wavered, health and fitness is something that all persons should have access to, and the blind community is no exception.

Please continue to support the program by using the information, providing feedback, and sharing it with others, and keep up the great work,

Tyler
