Seeking loud bt speaker recommendation to use in a party setting

Hi,
I MIGHT be the DJ at my sister's birthday party, which will be held in a hall. I'd prefer to use my iPhone, instead of schlepping a computer around. I'm seeking recommendations for a very loud bluetooth speaker that will be loud enough in a hall setting. I don't know for sure how many people will be there. It doesn't have to include a mic or a mixer, as I won't be saying anything. She simply wants me to play the music. I don't think any of the plethora of speakers I have for personal use ie Bose SoundLink color would be loud enough to reach in a hall situation.
Thanks

The ION Explorer family of blue tooth speakers are great. They come with 120 wats of power, and have wheels and a handle to roll around the speaker just like a suitcase.
Hope this helps.

You might want to take a look at Flossy Carter on YouTube. The guy does a lot of tech reviews and reviews a lot of Bluetooth speakers that would be good for parties.

His channel is mostly aimed at the African-American community, but his content is thorough and sometimes kind of funny. Although a lot of the speakers he reviews are probably more on the expensive side.

I've heard a lot of his videos. Love watching them. 😎

Hi, so I'm totally blind and a professional, full time DJ.

My recommendation would be to contact a hire firm nearby and hire something suitable for the party.

If you're playing a hall that will have guests chatting and making noise in, you're going to need something quite substantial to cut through and provide decent bass.

It will work out a lot cheaper to hire than to purchase for a one off event.

Also something else to bear in mind, is that if you are actually DJing and not just playing a pre-made playlist, then there will be delay/latency involved.
This makes it very tricky to DJ as the actions you perform on your device will not be in time with the sound coming out of the speakers.

PYLE makes a similar type of BlueTooth speaker which can be wheeled around for parties and the like. Some even have lights on them and will let you hook up mics and instruments. they're all over Amazon.

BY THE WAY, thanks for the Flossy Carter recommendation.
