Hello all:
I have an excel file that contains some clients contacts,
SO, i need to import them to my contacts.
I converted the xl file to CSV, then i convert it through an online site to VCF, but i can not find any contacts imported.
Even when i tried to import the CSV file itself, it accepted, but can not find any details,
so, what am doing wrong? and how can i do this in a professional way?

An idea.
When you look at the VCF file, does it display correctly before you add? If you cannot get it to work, you are probably going to have to manually copy and paste the information.
no, the VCF file was not ok
THe converted file was not ok, but anyway, how can i create this VCF file in a professional way?
Here's what I would do.
If you are familiar with the Contacts app, then this should be easy though. bit of work. You're going to In the Contacts app, do a Command N to create a new contact card. In Numbers, find the persons name and copy. (I assume this would work in Excel also but not sure) In the contact card, do a copy. You will have to sort out the persons first and last names. You will then VO right to the Contact info and interact. Interact with the field you want to edit such as the phone number and use that same Copy and paste but with the persons number. Same with email and everything else. Just like the iPhone, contacts defaults to labelling a number as Mobile, but you can easily change the category by arrowing down on the combo box. Hit done after you've filled in everything and you're good to go.
Succeeded
Thanks so much for your suggestion,
However, i succeeded in importing all my contacts as a CSV file.
just check the ignore 1st card, and also, put correct column names.
Thanks so much for all your suggestions
That's good!
That's good to know. I was unaware that Contacts could read CSV files.
