given the removal of the infovox IVox voices at the end of 2020 due to the ability to download multilingual voices in mac OS, are there any other TTS voices one can download other than the ones that're provided by Apple in VoiceOver preferences? what if you don't want Vocalizer voices? Obviously, and as to be expected, Eloquence is not an option, and that doesn't phase me, but what else exists for TTS anyway, or is the market just dominated with Nuance as the TTS leader? I don't want to have to go into windows to get additional voices, cause if i bought a Mac, I wanna be able to use as many, or as much of, a variety of TTS voices on that mac as humanly possible! another thought; are there any TTS voices that work only on certain processors, I.E. nuance, for example, would only work on M1 chips, even though I'm sure that's not the case, just giving an example. Thanks for any light that can be shed on this matter even though I'm sure this is a subject that has, and will continue to be, beaten to death on this web site, for obvious reasons. :)

Cepstral are the only TTS voices I know of
Hi,
Cepstral are the only TTS voice I know off. They are free downloads, but require an activation for each voice. Never activated them myself though. They can be downloaded from Cepstral.com. Good luck!
Try Cereproc voices for Mac
As the subject line says.
Have licenses for both brands of voice, but no luck on newer mac
Hi,
I bought a Cepstrel voice and a cereproc voice a while back, but unfortunately, I can't get them to install on newer versions of mac OS, (big sir and catalina). What am I doing wrong?
