I love radio, I love making crossfaded, mix CD's with my voice and others, between the tracks. I have long awated the time where I could create a mix tape, such as this, on my IPhone, and on the listener side, it's dead simple to listen.
I have looked for a music service that allows you to mix podcast episodes, and music, within a single playlist. I hadn't realised this until recently, but Spotify does allow this.
How are the playlists created?
Record each voicetrack into a podcast episode. Then line the VT's,and the music tracks up within a playlist, and hit share on the Spotify playlist.
The coolest thing, is that all the music is legal, and quickly at your finger tips.

This feature already exists within anchor natively.
I was so excited that I figured this out, and even more excited to know that it exists natively within the Anchor app already. If you click on the creation tools button, and then click the music button, you can insert songs into your podcast episode from Spotify. No going back and forth between apps! How cool is this.
Tested Anchors integration with Spotify
It’s pretty easy to use! I really love the layout in the app of course anchor, it’s super accessible. These podcasts are only submitted to Spotify, and they have to be approved. I don’t know how I feel about that. The tracks, of course are already legal for play through Spotify, so why does it have to be reviewed? Podcasting is all about freeform, so are they looking for what I’m saying? Anyway, just some initial thoughts. I will post back here if my episode is approved. Of course you’ve got the other way that I’ve described above, in the link above.
It is a quick review process, only about an hour
The episode is up. This way is definitely less time-consuming than creating mixtapes with Stationplaylist and uploading them to Mixcloud, and less time-consuming than the initial way I described in the main post. Of course there is no proper crossfading and voice intros, So it just depends on if you want to be able to do something quick and from wherever you’re at, or use more software. Pretty awesome! Thank you anchor in Spotify. https://open.spotify.com/episode/7iys0ywpZEGf2969iqXJsl?si=Wnfq07XxQse0umNHLfhnLw
