Audio books
Hi, guys! So, I have a couple things to say. First, it's amazing how radically something so mundane like a cell phone, or Iphone, can completely change your life? When I think about that kind of thing, I think about my own situation. Before I found Hadley, i never thought I'd do webinars! Never thought I'd be involved and doing volunteer work, etc. Now, I'm doing webinars, and more, along with reading braille again! It's amazing how these things can happen, and it's even more amazing, how the things you think will never change things, do. Also, I have a little something to say about audio books. I don't think I'll be signing up for Apple's audiobook service. I'm an Audible subscriber, for a month now, going on 2 months this Feb. And, I couldn't help but hear what you guys said about only getting 1 free book a month, and paying 15 USD. I have a little tip for you guys. I'm paying 15 USD. a month, not including tax, and I have what they call the Premium Plus plan. What you get with this plan is: your typical 1 credita month, but you also get access to something called the Audible Plus Catalog. All books and other related stuff are INCLUDED with your membership! No credits are needed! This month, I listened to three free books! One that I bought with a credit, and two cozy mysteries that were included in the plus catalog, which meant that I could get them for free! If VoiceOver says included after the info on a book, then that means that it's free. Randy, I'm not sure if you have the same plan as I do, but, it's worth contacting the CS. team at Audible and asking about it.
Books
Also if you have kindle or not and check an author and the ebook is about $1 or $2 and check the audible you might get the book for $7 if you have audible. If you have kindle, 10 books for free to read and the audible for $ 7 or$ 1. There are some great scifi for that amount. I build my collection by getting many great books for $1 or $7. No limit.
