Since the last 2 IOS updates, I've lost my new mail alert tone. I was hoping with the release of 15.3 it would be sorted, but no luck. I have checked that the sounds setting for mail is still on plus looked in the notifications setting to check that all options for mail are turned on, but still no luck.
If anyone has the same issue and has managed to fix it I'd love to hear from you. It's not the end of the world, but means I have to check more regularly for any new mail I may have missed.

Have you already checked the mail box specific options for notifications under Settings > Notifications > Mail > customize? Since iOS 15, all mail boxes are turned off there by default.

Hello,
Go into Settings and Notification Centre. Double-tap on Mail. At the bottom of this screen is Customise Notifications double-tap here. You should see a list of your e-mail accounts. Double-tap any account and you should see that by default they’re alert status if set to off. You can double-tap to toggle any account to on. This should resolve your issue.
in fact it worked
the last suggestion in deed works. The weird thing is that I had set some of my accounts to sound and as said, after the last two updates it was automatically deactivated, now it sounds again.

My accounts are set to badges
Hi. As the subject said, I'm not getting sounds either. so i checked and all three of them have sounds enabled, but are set at the customize option to badges. Any help would be great.
