I would search for an audio option if there is one. If there is not contact the sight owner, or if you have aira use that and they can remote into your computer via team viewer and do it for you.

Try it on the website. Or just abandon wechat as if they cannot fix that i dunno what to tell you. I use threema, or did for a while, and I use wha'ts app and telegram now a days.

Have you by chance tried Microsoft Seeing AI with this? I realize the timing issue is coming into play here, but just wondering if you could somehow save the puzzle piece and then look at it with Seeing AI?

I don't think that will work in this case. That will be too slow of a process.

Saving a puzzle piece isn't an option for obvious reasons. Second, if voice over told you where the puzzle piece went, that's like having it solved for you. It's a shame that most captcha solving solutions seem to fail or are subscription based which most do not want to support. Your best bet is either aira for the free five minute phone call, or you can see if someone sighted is around. You can also try to contact the developer byGoogling their site, or maybe tweet or Facebook their company. Good luck I'll edit this if i can find contact details for you.
Ok here's what I found. I googled it. If this is the app you're talking about, they have "select" fields which are probably a picker item if you are on your phone. On your computer, I use a Mac, this is what I did. i pressed voice over space, then arrowed down, no voice over keys and voice over space, on what I wanted. So for example, the first one is platform. I pressed select, then down, to IOSm then voice over space. I do that until everything is filled out, that means the category and the next field. Then comes a description field which you can write the problem in. After that, you are given the choice to be contacted by email or we chat. Then you leave your user id, email and that's it. Hope I helped. Here the link on a separate line

Hi.
I think this would be a great idea to bring captcha solving methods to the accessibility team at Apple. I know this can't be done in the ios 13 cycle, but possibly iOS 14? I email the accessibility team about this around a month ago, but got the usual response of we will forward this to the proper team for investigation. Maybe if we all came together and wrote about this issue something might be done? My advice to you would be find a number of captcha images, add them as attach them to an email, and try to explain in as much detail as possible that this should be a big feature implemented in the next iOS release.

Hi Edward ,
Seeing your description in your post, I can totally understand how you feel.If I guess correctly, you must be from China like me.There are a lot of apps in China that require jigsaw puzzles to fill in the captcha like you said, and they don't offer other alternatives. This is not very common in apps in many other countries, so I saw several partners who responded to your post actually didn't understand what you were trying to say.
In addition to the way the puzzle verification is driving us crazy, there is also a way to click on the image that also drives us crazy, such as clicking on all the traffic lights in the image below.Although VoiceOver has an image description feature, there is no way to do this form of validation because VoiceOver cannot acquire any actionable focus.
What's worse is that I think VoiceOver should be helpless for this verification method. Unless the app developer has a special design for visually impaired users, we can only ask friends around for help.

While that may be useful, it's also a major security risk.

All you would need to do in that case is to use voiceover to get around the CAPTCHA.

Hackers would be able to exploit that quite easily by turning voiceover on, getting past the puzzle, then continue.

I'm not saying this to be discouraging, I'm being realistic.

I would just ask someone I trust to solve the puzzle for me.

I'm trying to recover my account that has been placed under protection due to inactivity. VoiceOver doesn't seem to help me in this case.

Hi, Edward.

Glad the WeChat sign in process is accessible now! I had to ask for assistance, which was inconvenient, since I was in a different country and surrounded by well-meaning people. I wanted to ask you a question. I know this is probably not the best thread for my question, but I was wondering if you could provide some insights:

I love the new updates for WeChat, and they are most evident (for my use case) on the Mac. But I can no longer tap or press command+M to minimize window to type in a chat on iOS when in a video call. Are you still able to do this in a call and if so, what is your method?

I was able to use shortcuts on iPad running iPad OS 14, and WeChat on my phone was a good experience. I uninstalled it by choice. I didn't usually video calls with WeChat on iPad because camera turns off when multi-tasking. When making voice calls, I could do whatever I pleased.

I bet we have different use cases. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you.
