hat do you mean by accessibility in this case? HomePods are touch controlled and have VoiceOver. However the main point is to be interacted with by voice. As on the phone, siri is less chatty than Alexa and GH,, so something like google search on homepod might pop up on your phone.

Here's the rub with this; all of these have different size options, some have screens, etc. So this gets even more complicated.

If you're looking for really big sound, as much as I hate to say it, I'm not sure Apple is the option any more, as they have discontinued the larger sized homepod. The mini works fine for me, but in your use case I'm not sure. That said, the pros with this, of course, is it automatically connects to your iPhone, iPad, etc, because the device registers to your apple ID. You can also add Pandora to homepod as a secondary streaming solution, and you can airplay most anything else.

Google, to my knowledge, has three offerings; the hub, (this device has a screen), the google audio, and the nest mini. I have both the nest mini and the google audio. I actually like the sound of the google audio and think it might work well for your use case. Additionally, it should work with other nest products, which I would imagine would include the nest doorbell. Of course, you would have to download the google home app to your device to set the device up, but I found this to be pretty easy to do. I do find in terms of looking for general information google sometimes performs better than the other two, but that doesn't mean amazon and/or apple have bad products. It's also worth noting that the google devices allow you to add Pandora, SiriusXM, youtube music, spotify, and Apple music as music listening services.

Last but not least are the amazon devices. This line definitely has more options. There is the high end echo studio, the standard echo, the echo dot, and three versions of the echo show, which is the device with the screen. Obviously, sound is going to depend on which device you buy. I myself have the newest and the gen3 dot and a couple of the show products. Again, they work fine for my purposes, but if you're going for big sound you're probably best to look at a standard sized echo, as it is bigger and has more sound, or if you really want high fi, go for the echo studio. Of course, this requires the Alexa app to set up, but again, the process is not particularly challenging. This device also works with the Ring line of pruducts, which includes their doorbell options. Amazon allows you to add of course their amazon music service, apple music, tidal, pandora, SiriusXM, and spotify as music streaming options.

All of these can set timers, alarms, control home devices, etc. So it really comes down to the amount of money you want to spend and/or the size of the device you want.

I think I've made this lengthy enough, but if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I have all three in my home, had wanted to make a podcast pitting them against each other, but just never made my way around to that. I'm no expert by any means, but I certainly have explored them all and put them through their paces.

Considering that playing video content without... the video significantly defeats the purpose (especially for the target majority), to my knowledge there exists no implementation of what you're looking for. What video streaming services would you want to play from, anyway? If this is a deal-breaker surely you might just consider getting a high-quality wired or BlueTooth speaker, but I suppose you really want the voice assistant ease of use as well, right?
