V-O stops speaking after changing audio source

simply when I change the output of my MacBook Air m1 to AirPods or any audio device. the speech stops and I have to restart voice over again.
muting and unmuting does not help and this happens even if I connect wired headphones
any help willl be appreciated

It does that sometimes with my iPhone too.
However, sometimes the glitch only lasts a few seconds.

I have found that this behavior depends on both the app and the bluetooth device. Turn off bluetooth. Next, turn off the bluetooth device. Turn bluetooth back on and then turn on the device you want to switch to. This bug seems to be worse in IOS 15. If it did this with all bluetooth devices, it would be easier to reproduce.
