Accessibility Comments

This app is very accessible. You can do just about everything, though determining how big your brush is can be tricky.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.

Other Comments

For an art app, Procreate is very accessible. There are some drawbacks of course, like not knowing where you have drawn on the screen, but I am hoping to speak to the developer about this to see what can be done. You can do everything from selecting your brush and it's colour, to adding layers. Painting does require you to turn voiceover off, because direct touch is not supported. Whether the app was made accessible unintentionally, I am not sure. I do hope to speak to the developer about adding in a few more accessibility features, where possible. If you have some usable vision and would like to get into art, this may be a great start. I did go out and buy an apple pencil, and using the pencil with the app works great.

I have actually managed to create something using this app. It's a basic abstract piece, but it's still something.

This is great to know! I was always struggling to articulate how to layer images and illustrations. I might have given procreate a shot if I hadn't decided that my time would be better spent paying a graphic designer.

Hi guys, just bought the app and checked in the colors section, all i get are tones of red and blue. Only about like 20 to 30 colours. That can't be all of them. Where do you find the other colors, like black white or yellow/green/whatever? Hope someone can help.

@Steff This app was designed for iPads. It doesn't work because you're probably using an iPhone.
