VoiceOver keeps on saying direct touch no matter where I'm at on my phone.

Hi all,
I hope all of you are doing well.

This happened a week or 2 weeks ago and it didn't stop since.
Voiceover keeps saying direct touch no matter where I'm at on my phone. It doesn't matter if I'm on the home screen or in a specific app.

I tried disabling all of the apps that were selected in roter actions/direct touch but that didn't do anything. I tried restarting my phone, but that didn't do anything either.
I also tried updating to the latest version but no luck either.

Any idea what can I do.

Thanks much.

I haven't had that problem, but something you can try is using the router and turn direct touch off. An other thing you could try is use Siri to turn Voiceover off and then back on again. I hope this helps

Hmm, now this is interesting. I never thought that using siri to turn voiceover on/off could fix this.
The thing is The direct touch option isn't always available on the roter.

I mean to turn it off.

what about turning voiceover off and on again?

If none of those things work, I think there's a way you can reset voiceover but I'm not sure of it at the moment.
