Nice tool for Mobile Accessibility Auditing

Hello, my company Philosoft Mobile develops apps for the blind and visually impaired, but in addition to this we sometimes do auditing for other company's apps in terms of accessibility. I my self am a blind person, and so, I have no problem checking behaviors with screen readers like Voiceover and Talkback, However, I need to pass all visual issues, like font size, contrast etc. to my sited colleagues. I ren into an article that introduced me to a verry nice software that runs on my PC or Mac depending on the software I am checking – Flow Analyzer for Mobile . The app Flow Analyzer for Mobile, is fully accessible for me as a blind user. While it is not a replacement to human testing, and does have some more testing to include, it will give me a nice report on visual and nonvisual incompliances with WCAG 2.0. The report is verry detailed and include reference to articles about any issue it reports as a problem. I find that the app gives me a verry good starting point on my audit. One mor thing, as a blind user I find myself trying to explain accessibility problems to the developers of an app I use, even outside my role in my company, now I can direct the developers to this app, and it explains most of the accessibility problem's. Hope this will help someone. Shmuel Naaman C.E.O Philosoft Mobile

Hi.

Greg at Apogee Electronics tech support has asked for info to pass along to someone with decision-making authority regarding making accessibility improvements for their next software and hardware upgrades. I would like to give them your post above and your contact information, or if you prefer, I can simply give them a link to this page. How would you like me to proceed?

Thank you,

Bruce Harrell

Hi there,
thank you for posting about this app, it looks really interesting.
We would be more than happy if you would be able to post this app on the App directories list,
So it would be easy for people to find it later on.
Thanks again.
