extremely simple GPS app recommendations

Hi,
I'm looking for a no frills GPS app that will simply play a sound when I get within a certain specified distance of an address I specify.
I don't want to have to constantly watch where I am when I'm on the bus, I'd much rather listen to music and just have an alert pop up when I get within a mile of my house for example.
Is there an app that will do this?

Hello, I'm Atakan and a visually impaired. I'm the Product Manager at WeWALK. With WeWALK's public transportation feature, you can easily do what you want. Whenever I come to the public transport stop, I select the stop I will get off and listen to podcasts or music. When I approach the stop, the application warns me with a notification. You can try this using the link below if you want. If there is anything you want to ask, you can always contact me. (atakan@wewalk.io) Go to store page

Hi,
The bus I'd use (once the mask requirements get lifted) brings me from my house to the exact address I'm going to, so it's door to door, so not typical public transport.
But anyway, would WeWalk or Loadstone work on an uber or in a family car? Let's say for example, I go to a certain place every day. Could I set an alert to let me know when I'm close to that place and home every day? And every time I'm close to that address and home? Or do I have to set it every time?

Try Loadstone GPS, it works even if Internet or GSM connection is not very good. I've ried it many times and the app announced me correctly on every marked location ad the results were much better han when using other apps. Bear in mind app is only an app and many unfriendly circumstances might interfere the GPS signal thus giving you wrong information. Good luck with your research.

Hi,
Maybe it's operator error, but I can't seem to get loadstone to work in the background. Is there a way where I can just set it and forget it? I mean in the sense where I can program the addresses where I go most frequently and have them sound an alert whenever I get maybe a half a mile away? And this would be even if the app is closed, a geofence of sorts.
