Update: Our testing suggests that none of the bugs we previously reported as being introduced in iOS 15.0 and iPadOS 15.0 are resolved in these releases. However, there were some new bugs introduced in those releases which were not encountered by members of our team or had a way for us to test for them, so we cannot comment on the status of these.
Apple has today released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1, bringing a fix for ‘Unlock iPhone with Apple Watch’ and a couple other issues.
Here is what Apple says is fixed in today’s release of iOS 15.0.1:
- Unlock iPhone with Apple Watch may not work on iPhone 13 models
- Settings app may incorrectly display an alert that storage is full
- Audio meditations could unexpectedly start a workout on Apple Watch for some Fitness+ subscribers
As iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 appear to have been released to address a small number of specific issues, our expectation is that they do not contain any accessibility changes for blind and low vision users; however, if you notice any changes, improvements or regressions in your own use of these releases, please post a comment with your findings.
iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 are available via Over-the-Air Update (Settings > General > Software Update) via Finder on a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, or via iTunes on a PC or Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier.
Before updating, we strongly recommend making a full and complete backup of your device (either locally or in iCloud, depending on personal preference). This will ensure that, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong during the update process, you will have a current backup on hand in case a device restore becomes necessary. Also, if using OTA update, we recommend plugging your device into a power source for the duration of the download/installation process, so as to prevent the unlikely event of your battery going dead during the update.
More information on how to update the software on your device is available on this Apple Support page.

I was unable to type in my passcode using BSI. I hope they will fix this.
Possible share-sheet fix in iOS 15.0.1
In my admittedly limited testing, the spurious and inconsistent share-sheet VoiceOver bug appears to have been fixed with iOS 15.0.1. The names of commonly shared-to people, and the names of apps now appear in the share-sheet, so far as I can tell. I have not tested this extensively however, thus your milage may vary.
Tested on an iPhone 13 Pro.
ShareSheet
I can confirm that the ShareSheet bug is fixed.
thank god
Thank god, that share sheet bug was driving me crazy.
May finally update
Hi. Haven't updated to IOS 15 yet... still on IOS 14.
I may update since some bugs have been fixed. I'm surprised how fast these bugs were able to be fixed. :-)
I haven't updated yet, does…
I haven't updated yet, does anyone know if the wallet bug still exists?
Thanks
Status of other bugs
I would also like to know the status of the other bugs such as the inability to edit existing alarms, the inability to pick the time when creating a focus, the usability of Authy etc…
No fixes for any of our reported bugs
Our testing suggests that none of the bugs we previously reported as being introduced in iOS 15.0 and iPadOS 15.0 are resolved in these releases.
However, there were some new bugs introduced in those releases which were not encountered by members of our team or had a way for us to test for them, so we cannot comment on the status of these. This includes the Share sheet bug which some in this thread have found to now be resolved.
The two Wallet bugs are still present for me on two different devices. However, these appear to also be bugs which only effect some people, so your own mileage may vary.
Based upon past years, our expectation is that Apple will roll out a number of accessibility-related fixes in the 15.1 releases. Apple released iOS 14.1 on 20 October last year, so it seems reasonable to expect that iOS and iPadOS 15.1 will drop some time this month.
For me, the wallet is fixed
Subject line says it, I have my credit card and a hotel member rewards card and I can explore by touch and swipe. They seem not to crash. If someone else has the bug, can you confirm.
Authy
Not sure if it was the update or the fact that I reinstalled the Authy app, but I am now able to read the information in the app after it broke with the iOs 15 update.
Comfusing
I am confused now, the ShareSheet bug seemed to have been resolved once I tested the new release then on my later use of the ShareSheet it seems that it has not been resolved.
Thank you
Thank you for the info
