Hello everyone. I'm looking for a very simple bible app that is accessible. I don't require there to be many bible version options as long as they have something more understandable than the KJV. I use Dwell, but for things like sermons and bible studies, that app doesn't cut it. I need something where I can easily navigate between books and chapters, and that is available offline. I use FastBible, but the WEB is not my favorite. any recommendations would be lovely. Thanks so much!

That has thousands of different version of Bible and it’s also very accessible.

Hi!
Use a simple text.
It is very simple and easy.
Cheers!
Re: Text Version
Where would I get that? Thanks for the comment. :)
Wholeheartedly Also Recommend Youversion
At the moment, this app may have more than you are looking for, but the app layout is completely accessible. It is easy to select version, book, chapter, and verse, with familiar picker-type controls. If you want reading plans, there is a lot of content to choose from. It's the only Bible app I use daily now. Serves me well.

I'd suggest trying pocketsword
I've collected a number of Bible apps, but the only one I've found that is simple enough for my needs is Pocket Sword. I have dwell, and like it well enough, but almost never use it. Youversion and Bible Gateway are frankly too cluttered for my liking. I've heard rumors that someday, the company behind the accessible Bible Courrier device is going to put out an app. No clue if that's true or not, but if it ever happens, that might be my goto. I used to have a Bible on my Braille Sense, and it was by far the easiest, most enjoyable Bible I ever used, but when the Braille Sense died unexpectedly, I lost that Bible. Can't seem to find anything even remotely comparable to use on my new Brailliant or the iPhone. So, I'll probably watch this thread just in case anyone else has any thoughts. In the meantime, I'd recommend at least giving Pocket Sword a try.
re: text version (epub)
Hi!
try it!

But do not say you won't be able to read.
I won't believe it.
Cheers!
Bible Gateway
So far Bible Gateway is my favorite Bible app. I like the fact that it provides many Bible translations in English and since English is not my native language, I can easily switch languages when I need.
Actually this app is packed with extra features, but at the same time they won't distract you while you are reading so you may pay attention to them later if interested.

I'm trying to download this, just for the fun of it, but I'm pretty sure that this is not what was being requested. I think the poster wanted an actual app, and based on this link, that's not what this is. If it works well with my Brailliant, I'll happily use it, though. Not even sure what App I'd use on my phone to open something like this, though.

Hi!
I have given this link as an example. Sure you can find a suitable e-book.
I don't think this book is not open source.
Cheers!
