I haven’t yet updated to iOS 15 but voiceovers volume fluctuations while using a Bluetooth speaker are driving me mad. I can’t see this mentioned anywhere, has this Ben happening to anyone else that voiceover will suddenly come out extremely loud out of the phone speaker while playing something else through a Bluetooth speaker? It happens a lot particularly while typing for some reason. Interested to know if this was happening to anyone before and if 15 had resolved it,
Thanks

It’s still happening but
Before iOS 15, I had to turn off VoiceOver to get the volume level back to where it was, but now unlock in the phone like with Face ID for example restores the volume. So it’s still annoying but maybe just a little less
Yes, very strange behaviour
I thought I am the only gifted one that had this issue OR believed it to be a natural way of things to be. Even after using Siri on the home screen without a bluetooth device connected the VoiceOver volume is suddenly louder when I try reading the screen with the results from Siri. I have set V/O volume to 50 and my media volume to 30 apparently even audio ducking isn't working as expected. Used to happen on 14.8 and is still happening on 15. It's really messy and the task of reaching out to apple accessibility is easy but them addressing the challenge is an uphill task Device is SE 2020
The fix is
Hi, when using the relevant app turn off sounds in the rotor. This will solve this issue mainly. However, any other app you then go into will reintroduce this issue so you need to turn off sounds in all apps you use. Or as I have done just turn them off for everything. With haptic it isn't so bad as the phone still vibrates. Only part this doesn't seem to solve is typing. Even with all system sounds off typing still makes the volume go up. But, it should make vo better in most instances.
