This one is driving me crazy, and I'm wondering if it's happening to others running iOS 15. If I go into my recent calls log to initiate a phone call, and double-tap on the name or number of the person I want to call, focus must switch at the last possible second. Because about half the time, I don't call the person whose name or number I double-tapped on. I've also noticed that swiping to delete a name or number from that list often results in placing a call to that person. I've had to start going into Edit to clear those calls, which I never had to do previously. I've reported this to Apple just in the last 24 hours and am waiting to hear back.

Experiencing this issue as well
Hi Brooke. I've also been dealing with this bug on my 12 Pro Max since the early betas. Hopefully there is a fix in 15.1.
Same here with my 12 Pro Max
It hits me so frequently that I have to be extra-careful not to surprise myself and others with unexpected calls! Hope it gets resolved soon.
Are you talking about recent calls tab?
I just wanted to experience this on my SE 2020; on the recent tab, when I swipe up and down it works as expected i.e. gives me the options to delete or more info where I can add the caller to my contacts. Am I missing something here?
The options are correct...
But at least for me, about 50 percent of the time, when I hit Delete, it calls the person instead.
