Accessibility Comments

One little thing isn't accessible. To favourite a radio station, you have to double tap the love button when using VoiceOver, however, VoiceOver interacts with the love button, but VoiceOver doesn't announce if you have selected or deselected the love button.

Usability

Fully Accessible

I like this app because the app allows me to listen to radio stations using the speaker in the Apple Watch. To listen to a radio station you need to pick the country where it's from. The Countries and Radio stations are in Alphabetical order. The Countries by it's name and the radio stations by their call letters. It's a good idea to turn on digital crown navigation if your country is at the bottom of the list or the country you want to listen to has a lot of radio stations and the one you want to listen to is at the bottom. Otherwise that is potentially a lot of flicking. Once you find a radio station you like or want, it's a good idea to double tap on the love button to favourite it. That way you can just go to your favourites and it will be a lot quicker to find again. By the way to turn or off digital crown navigation the gesture is a 2 finger triple tap.

Just install this app, and have found that lots of BBC stations are available, which is excellent. As the review said, very very accessible with the minor exception of the status of the love button, but that is a minor quibble.

I contacted the developer on Twitter, and he says that there will be an update coming out in the next few days. So the app should be returning to the App Store.

Hi,

I tweeted him as well, and he said there will be an update within the next few weeks.
I asked if he needed beta testers, & he said I could.
I mentioned the issue with the Love button, and he said he’ll make sure it’s fixed. He’s definitely committed to Accessibility.

I really love this app. I use it when doing jobs in my flat. It means I don’t have to have my phone with me all the time. the only problem i have with this app is when sorting stations by country, I can't find the UK in the list of countries. Apart from that small issue, I really love using this app.

You have to go to the T section in the list of Countries, Find "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland

This app seems to be back as I just successfully purchased and downloaded it on my watch 6.
