Ios 15, can we, or cant we, change the address bar back to the top?

Hi all,
I've been searching on how to switch the address bar back to the top in safari, because the address bar at the top... is what i've been used to for years now. While I like the new safari, the address bar at beeing on the bottom is kinda... putting me off, to say the least. How can we as voiceover users change this? Or is this not possible? I've looked at other forums which say that this is possible and how; but I cannot figure it out with voiceover.

I came across a possible cause and solution for the safari address bar location issue.

https://ioshacker.com/iphone/best-hidden-features-of-ios-15

According to the post, here's what it states...

"One of my favorite hidden features of iOS 15 is the ability to switch between tab bar and single bar. With Tab bar option users can move the Safari address bar to the bottom of the screen, and add new swipe gestures for switching between opened tabs.

When Single Bar option is selected users get the classic Safari look in which the address bar is moved towards the top of the screen, just like iOS 14 or earlier.

You can switch between the two types of Safari address bars by following these steps.

1. Go to Settings -> Safari
2. Choose between Tab Bar or Single Bar options
3. Exit"

I do hope this is helpful...

Another method is available directly inside of Safari.

First, double tap on the Page Settings button.

Depending upon how you currently have the layout of Safari configured, you will have one of the following in the menu:

Show Top Address Bar
Show Bottom Tab Bar

The first of these will do exactly what it says.

The second is perhaps not as clear, but will place the address bar at the bottom of the screen

I think I prefer the address bar at the bottom as now I can use a simple 4 finger tap to land on the first element on the screen which is now the first element on the webpage, often the menu expand button which I find useful. What does everyone else think to the new layout?

I'm definitely going to keep it as it is, I like it.
