Hello. since the last update, i have a weird issue with the mail app. When I open it, i only see the status bar and nothing else. The weirdest thing is, when i turned off voice over, my parents could see the emails as usual. I even tried restarting my phone.

You are not the only one who has reported some kind of strange happening with the native mail app. I am using it for my Gmail as IMAP and it's working fine; not experienced anything strange.

You can try removing the mail account from your iDevice and set it up again; settings/ mail/ accounts and delete account

Once you have deleted the account in question; restart your phone and then set up the account in mail; hoping that should fix before you go that far; check if you have any filters pressed you can open the mail app. swipe right till you hear filter if it says pressed; it means your mails are filtered by unread or some other criteria

Hi,

I don’t think there is any global toggle for Direct Touch, but you may want to try turning off Screen Recognition from VO settings under Voiceover recognition section. If the Mail app functions as expected after turning off Screen Recognition, then you may consider switch it back on and then turn it off for specific app, the Mail app in this case.
