An app that makes browsing Reddit as easy as using the Facebook iOS app?

Whether it’s the Reddit website, the official Reddit iOS app or the third-party apps I’ve tried, I cannot find a comfortable way to browse posts on that platform. My gold standard for a well implemented social media accessibility solution is the Facebook iOS app. even though a Facebook post is actually made up of many elements including links, text, buttons and images, voiceover treats each post as a single UI element. Moving between posts in the news feed is as simple as swiping left or right, and if you want to interact with the post you can swipe up or down to access the available actions or double tap on the post to open it. Is there a Reddit app that presents posts as single navigable blocks like Facebook? If so, I’d love to know what it is. If not, I hope third-party developers will consider this feedback when implementing accessibility.

I will second Dystopia!! It is fantastic and designed with VO users specifically in mind. I can't say enough good things about that app. Because of it we have almost completely equal access to Reddit in an efficient and clear platform. Second best would be Apollo then bacon.

Nothing else compares. I keep the official app around for the 2 chats per year that come in.

I wish the dev would release it already. I would happily pay for it.

Thanks for the additional information about dystopia. Now that you say that name, I remember seeing some buzz here about it previously but couldn’t locate it. I’m not familiar with the test flight program but I will check into it. Any idea why it isn’t available on the App Store yet and when it might be? Thanks

I second Dystopia. As for whether it'll ever end up on the Appstore, who knows? The author always seems to have too many other things on his plate to release it, ☺️

the only other one I use is Apollo. You have to pay for it to get full functionality, but for basic stuff the free version works well. it shows posts in single blocks, and the author has done some work on Voiceover compatibility. About the only slightly annoying thing is you have to triple tap or long press on a post to get the actions rather than using the actions rotor, but other than that I quite like it.

OK, installed the test drive app and downloaded dystopia. Wow! Now I understand all the rave reviews. This is literally exactly what I was looking for. Thanks everybody

Yeah so what’s the deal with the beta status other than we might be solicited for testing/feedback by the developer? Is the functionality of the app handicapped in any way? Seems fantastic and fully functional to me so far
