Hello.
I started a new song in Garageband for iOS.
It contains a single section, 8 bars long.
I tried to increase it but when I closed the pop-up, it were still 8 bars in lenght.
I tried to duplicate it and also to add a new section but nothing happened.
Did I understand something wrong on how this work or is there some accessibility issue?

I know about this but this isn't an answer: how can I set up the lenght to a given value? And what can I do if I want to duplicate the section or add a new one?

Set a section to automatically fit the length of your recording
When you record a Touch Instrument, the section length determines how long the recording is. However, you can set the section to automatically fit the length of your recording. This is useful when you record something of an undetermined length (such as an improvised performance or spoken word), or when you import audio or MIDI files into your song.
1.
Open the song section controls.
2.
Tap the Inspector button Inspector button next to the section name. If you have more than one section, tap the Inspector button next to the last section.
3.
Tap the Automatic switch to turn it on.
4.
Tap anywhere in Tracks view to close the song section controls.
Change the length of a section
1.
Open the song section controls.
2.
Tap the Inspector button Inspector button next to the section name.
3.
If the section is set to Automatic, tap the Automatic switch to turn it off.
4.
Tap the up or down arrow next to Manual to lengthen or shorten the section incrementally by bars.

Use action instead of looking for inspector button.
When you move Focus to a section using voiceover; you'll hear it say more actions available. Flick up or down to choose from activate, delete, or more info. I believe more info is what they call the inspector.
No inspector.
Hello.
I don't know which version of GB are you talking about. Mine is the last released and for iOS, not MacOS. I have no inspector button next to section's name.
Moreover, once I'm in a section, let's say the Section A and automatic lenght is on manual state, I can change the bar lenght, but, when I close that pop-up, the section returns as it was before.
Any other idea?

Sorry but here there is no more actions? I don't have any further action in section's song or inside of it, over each section's name. I surfed all the rotor action but it has common controls only.
Guys, are we taling about GB for iOS, right? It seems so crazy we have these differences.
