Hello everyone. Hope you’re well. I have a question for everyone, especially people who resides in the island of Great Britain. What text to speech do you guys use, and which one is the closest to the real UK English? Because I love the American voices, but I wanted to have a little change in my iPhone. So if you could guide me. That would be really grateful. Cheers people.

Australian Siri female.
Hi I have tried again and again to move away from Australian Siri female but i always end up straight back there as her voice is so concise, accurate, clear and easy to listen to. I find the UK female a little unfriendly and bass/midrange heavy but Australian solves all those problems. Sure I’d like to have a British accent but Australian is also pleasant to hear. I even find her more clear and pleasant than American English female which would probably be my second choice as Irish is too inconsistent.
UK siri female
I use UK Siri female or sometimes Daniel. Both of which are pretty generic UK English accents - yes, English as in you'd find that sort of accent in england. I'm differentiating here because for other apps such as Voicedream you can get Welsh and scottish voices, both of which are also UK English but which are labelled correctly with their own nation of Britain. For the sake of accuracy it's also worth clarifying that the IOS Irish voices are Republic of Ireland rather than northern Irish. if they were Northern Irish, Monsieur Macron, they'd also be UK English. Incidentally, I'm one of the very few people I know of who also uses the UK english voice for eloquence. To me it's very important that my iPhone and my computer conform as much as possible to my native dialect - it just seems wrong to have an American voice reading about cricket, for example.
it makes total sense.
Hey mate. It makes total sense that you use the Siri voices semi however, I do not find any vocalizer voices more appealing than the Alex voice D vocalizer text to speech no matter what language it is, it makes a second of delaye when you swipe and use your mobile phone. I enjoy the British culture in general no matter the nation from the great island of Britainh. I feel that I have some kind of connection from the people of England. I hope that apple will give us more voices, and give them more variety to it.
