I know the paid version was discontinued sometime ago, but can no longer find the free online version to re-download. I have tried to Google search to see if it has been officially discontinued, and have come up empty. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Shame if gone for good
I too was disappointed to notice a few months ago that this app seems to have quietly been retired.
I guess that the writing was on the wall when APH previously dropped the full app in favour of the ‘online’ edition.
I would love to hear if anybody knows if APH has something in the works for Nearby Explorer, or if if it has indeed gone for good.
Good Maps
It seems this app has been spun off and succeeded by Good Maps. I still use Nearby Explorer as I am much more likely to need outdoor navigation than indoor. Indoor navigation seems the primary developmental focus of Good Maps. Hopefully the outdoor support in Good Maps will eventually get to the same level as Nearby Explorer has.

Yes, and I also think it's rediculous that we paid so much for this app and now if we need to reset our phone and backed up to the cloud we can no longer use this app. Perhaps if developers are going to practice this way they need to include a disclosure in their tos about how app is subject to being discontinued or something like that.
