YouTube App No longer Accessible?

iOS and iPadOS

Recently the YouTube app stopped working with voiceover on my iPhone. It did it out of nowhere without me updating or anything. It still works fine on my iPad, but not my phone.
I've tried everything I can think of. I've deleted it and reinstalled, restarted my phone, turned on screen recognition, and nothing. Has anyone had similar experiences?

the YouTube app works fine here. I have an iPhone SE Second Generation for reference.

Turn it off in both rotor and in settings for all apps, then restart phone. Screen recognition is broken for some.

Hi,
What version of iOS? Which iPhone? Which version of YouTube?

Try turning voiceover on and off.
I’ve tried it with an app and it worked for me.

My YouTube Music has done the same thing and it's driving me batty! A friend of mine who has the same phone/same IOS is having no problems at all. I've also reset my phone, deleted and reinstalled, and no change. However, my YouTube app is just fine.

It seems nobody else experienced this issue here, so, again, screen recognition is the most common cause. Open the app chooser, select youtube and turn off screen recognition from the rotor, or on and off again if it's not turned on.
Good luck.
