Okay, so it's not accessible out of the box. If you tried poking around on the screen with voiceover turned off? It might be just a matter of learning where the controls are and what they do just by sound. If people have played Street fighter successfully, I can't imagine why these two games spooks andfreeq Wouldn't be any different. If you have, and please give us a little more information than just a general "it's not accessible. "It doesn't really tell us a lot. I suppose I should differentiate between playability and accessibility. There are a lot of games that are not accessible but are playable of person is going to learn.
With voice Over off, I could move around, but I couldn't do much else. The game sounds interesting, but it needs a lot of work before it's even playable. Freeq, even with VO turned off, I could do nothing with it at all.
HI,
I downloaded this and me and my partner had a little try of it. It doesn't look like it will be workable without some input from the devs. I've suggested some things to them and I think it's going to be a hit once it works.
The basic objective is that you are given this device that scans the airwaves and intercepts phone calls. Really, the objective is to piece together the story by listening in to the various conversations. The trouble is that in order to home in, you have to first tilt your device and locate the frequency by lining up a couple of beams on the screen, then tapping a round circle. This could be doable with some input. Once this is done, you then have to drag a white line and connect a couple of people to make a call, this is more difficult I think. The only approach I suggested to the developers for this is to have the game announce the callers in quick succession say
Ken, James, Don. Rotating through the list constantly, turning in to a time reaction minigame whereby the person taps the screen when you here the name you want, then the list repeats again, meaning that you would tap the screen on the second party and the call connects. Hope this is making sense.
I would love this to be doable, the voice work is top quality to be honest and it's a little bit stupid that a company has left out the very market that would find this concept really unique. From the 20 or so minutes we put in to it, the game would be a hit for us once doable.
