Has anyone else noticed in iOS native MP3 file player that it doesn’t mention how long the track is that you’re listening to

iOS and iPadOS

In previous versions of iOS, when playing a media file, voice-over would announce the current position followed bye how long the file is, this is no longer seems to be the case in iOS 14.
Has anyone else noticed this?
it’s quite annoying actually because it’s very difficult to tell how long a track or audio file is now

It would seem strange for a podcast plater not to have a time slider.

So, is anybody with some sight able to confirm that there is no time slider, rather than it being there and not accessible to VoiceOver?

On the lock screen, I used to have a slider that announced the current and total time of a playing music track. The same for the lock screen when using iCatcher to listen to podcasts. I can slide or flick to adjust the time, but I miss knowing what the total track time is.

In the Music app, I don't see a time slider at all, but it's possible I don't know where to look. I don't find it on the mini player. In iCatcher, on its Now Playing screen, the time bar does show the current and total time.

I too would like to know if the total time is visible on the lock screen, and just not read by Voice Over.

I've had some working eyes in the house check, and both the current position and the total duration are indeed visually present on the playback control timeline slider on the Lock Screen and Notification Center, but in both cases VoiceOver only speaks the current position.

So, off goes another bug report to Apple.

Same for those apps. Before in bard mobile the only thing it show was zero. Now it just give you the time that you had listen to the book and not how much is left.
