Accessibility Comments

Unlike the first 2 SongPops, this one is accessible. The most important buttons and menus are labelled, but there are some occasional unlabeled controls. A few examples of those include quickly saving a playlist while playing a game or previewing songs on the results screen. Most of them will get picked up by VoiceOver image detection. The 2 final things to be aware of is that sometimes it may take multiple presses of the continue and claim rewards buttons to get through all the rewards screens, and the screen where you accept a challenge gets read as one huge element for VO. To accept someone's challenge, either using screen recognition to press the accept button or tapping it manually with VoiceOver off (it's near the bottom middle of the screen) may be required.

There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them.

Other Comments

This is one of those games that's not afraid to get you to spend money, either on a subscription or its other currencies, otherwise it spams you with video ads every chance it gets. If you don't mind this or are willing to subscribe to remove ads, then the gameplay is extremely addicting and fun.

Love it!

I am seriously addicted to this game. While there is room for improvement with accessibility, they have done a pretty good job with this release.

Trying to play my turn

I was able to start a couple games with random people, but I am having trouble playing my term. I have to go completely out of the app exit it and go back in before I can select the game to play. Does anyone know a way around this? Also, how do you select between classic and real time games?

Screen recognition

It sounds like you may have screen recognition turned on. The only time you need to have this turned on is when you accept a challenge. Once you accept a challenge, turn screen recognition off, and you should be good to go. I have only played with 1 person so far, so I cannot answer your other question. With older iPhone it's difficult to figure out some controls

Hello,
I am having a lot of fun with this SongPop 3 game and am very glad to the person who posted it here; but as described on accessibility comments above, I find quite weird the interface of alerts such as challenge acceptance and others, including shop.
When you go down, to Shop tab, every time you press an item attempting to buy it, it's not possible to buy or even to go back, without turning VoiceOver off - well, yes, I have an iPhoneX which seems not to support screen recognition function.
I have already sent a feedback to support, sp3 dot support at freshplanet dot com.
The app is quite recent, released on december 2020 so I think interface must have many optimizations, but really, I find a little dangerous to turn VoiceOver off while in the shopping window.
Then I have another question for players:
the Add Friend function: do you manage to add friends only through facebook or you can also add your random opponents as friends?
I really am not able to find the buttons, there are a lot of unlabelled controls especially on a user's profile page; artificial intelligence where available makes its best, but many improvements must still be performed in that game.

Hi. I'm honestly addicted to this game. However, I'm wandering if the live games are accessible at all. I tried many times to tap on start a live game, but I don't have any voice over feedback. Also, they offer live game packs for about 5 euros. Is it worth buying? Thanks in advance for any hints.
