I have an iPhone 8 with the latest IOS. Yesterday, I downloaded a radio streaming app called Rejoice Radio. Everything was fine until I tapped on the mute button. Both the music and Voiceover stopped. I tried rebooting the phone, and a friend deleted the app. Neither solution worked. At least Siri works, so I can do a few things. I've never been thrilled with the haptics, but, now, that's the only way I know the phone is on. How do I get my voice back?

try using the volume buttons.
Try pressing volume up and then asking siri to turn off voiceover and turn it on again. Oh and make sure that your mute switch is unmuted.
