Hi, I'm using the latest macOS 11.2.3 and I noticed that the shortcut (command+left/right Aero) does not work when VoiceOver is on. It work totally fine when VoiceOver is off, but as soon I turn VO on it stops working. Is there any workaround for that?
thank you

Command plus Square brackets
Hi. The shortcut for going back and forward is command plus square brackets - those near the P key. I think this is the way they are called. Strangely, this also works fine for Romanian keyboard, even if it uses letters instead of the square brackets on those keys. For German, for example, it doesn't work. Hopefully, it will work for all languages you use.
Another solution
Hi Omar, I use the Spanish layout for my MacBook, and also this was one of my first questions when started using macOS.
A lot of shortcuts for safari don't work in this language, so I discovered a forum topic over here that gave me the answer.
Maybe you will have to make a quick function shortcut in settings as I did.
Sorry if the terms I use are not the same for your language but the steps are like these:
Go to system preferences. Then to keyboard, and there choose quick function. There in the first table choose function of app, then move to the second table select safari and go to add new function.
There you will have to know first how the function is called in safari, and to do so, in safari press VO + M, and move through the menus and when you find it memorize how it is spelled, once done, go again to settings preferences where we were, and write down the name of the function and then the quick function to perform it. I used cmd + shift + A to go backward, and cmd + shift + D to go forward.
Be careful not to choose a quick function that is already assigned to another function.
hope this helps
thank you
hello Alexandra, thank you, it worked perfectly with no issues.
Very useful
Hi Karina, thank you for that, the solution Alexandra suggested worked for me, but I didn't know that you can assign custom shortcuts to apps. This is so useful, thank you so much.
