Good morning I seem to be having problems with my MacBook Air 2020 voice over just stop speaking when I'm scrolling around on the Internet or on the Mac so if anybody else is having this issue when it stops speaking I can still hear the feedback sounds that the air is still moving across but I told you stop speaking I have to put voiceover on and off continuously

I too am experiencing the exact same issue.
This is most frustrating!
To re-enable VO I must toggle VO off/on multiple times to get it back.

Since updating to Big Sir 11.2.3 a couple of days ago,I started experiencing the bug where Voiceover randomly stops speaking but is still active because I can still hear the sound effects. I used to have this problem on my old 2013 MacBook Air, but since the update, I am starting to notice this on my new MacBook Air M1. As noted, the only way to fix it is to toggle Voiceover off and wait about 5 seconds, then turn it back on.

Many scenarios cause Voice Over to go silent. I hold Command and hit F5 four time sto get it back. Sometimes I simply have to turn it off then turn it back on. I spoke with Apple Disability a couple times with no resolution.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen I've spoken with Apple and tried fixing this problem I did a bunch of troubleshooting and they couldn't figure out what it is they're saying they will fix it in a future update but I switched from Alex compact voice to Alex and so far that seems to have fixed my problem
