Hi, I am setting up an iPhone 12 Mini as a new device. When I go to Settings > Accessibility Setting > VoiceOver > Speech > Voices, the English (US) options are Fred and Samantha. Where did Alex go? It still shows up on my iPhone SE. Is there some way to prompt iOS to remember that Alex is a thing?

One thing you can try is to engage Siri, as that for whatever reason sometimes get's Alex to show up. Otherwise, you can try toggling VoiceOver on and off, or restarting the device. You may have to do this several times, as getting the Alex voice to show up on a new device can be a bit of a pain.
If those suggestions don't work, try downloading the Alex voice after the iPhone has been plugged in and has fully charged, as premium voices may not show up until the device has been plugged in.
