I am using an iPhone 12. I had problems using a two finger tap to dictate a message, so I reset the phone. It won't accept my password, I was thinking maybe the typing mode somehow was changed, but I just can't be sure. The phone disable for one minute. I tried again, and the phone disabled for three minutes. Any suggestions please.
thanks?

I found a solution, a sighted person, and yes the typing mode was changed. There is nothing I can do about the typing mode on the lock screen that I know of.

I wouldn't suggest this in most cases, but having a phone is very important. Give your phone to a trusted friend or family member. Ask them to unlock the phone for you and give them the passcode. Once they've unlocked your phone, change the typing mode back to what you had it on before you had to reset the phone. Then change the passcode on your phone. Hope this is of some help.

In the passcode field, type one character somehow, by double tapping the letter, then move the rotor to find the typing mode option, flick down to change it to touch typing. This should work if you land again in the same situation.
