Take control of a chef and lead him from a street hot dog vendor to a head chef in a restaurant. Test your hearing, reaction and memory! Play, cook, find new dishes and earn achievements. For those who find the game too easy, there is a hardcore mode inside.
Inside you will find: 5 dishes, normal and hardcore modes, random trial, achievements, leaderboard.

If someone doesn't beat me to it, I will add it to the directory.

I am going to give it a try!

I've been waiting for a game like this for a very long time, as I've seen so many cooking games in the mainstream, and have wanted one which I could play for ages and ages. It's a nice relaxing game and not so easy to remember ingredients if you haven't a good memory, which I haven't. One thing I did find, you have to turn voiceover off to play, or at least I did, I couldn't get the game to work at all until Voiceover was turned off. The game is self voiced. The English in the menus is a little stilted. I don't know yet how you're supposed to advance in the game, as however many orders I get right, I still only get one star. Time will tell. But I'm really glad to have this game, it's a keeper for me.

Just keep doing the same levels over and try to do good. Eventually you will unlock new dishes.

hope the coming update can have some sounds effect

This should voice over and standard voice over controls. if this is fixed I will give it another shot. There is a screen reader for a reason. please use it.

By Kostiantyn on Thursday, February 25, 2021 - 10:07

Sorry, dennis, but it's unreal. The game has 13 different voices and this is a part of gameplay. And i will add more voices with updates. So, i can't ruined gameplay for standard screen reader. Hope you will understand.

Hi, thanks about this, i like this game. I want to suggest to support the the Direct Touch like thatbwe are not need to turn Voice Over off. It's a feature on Voice Over Rotor. It will be nice if you can add sound efects please.

Hello,
Does this game actually help someone learn or relearn ADL skills in the kitchen like measuring, keeping plates level when taking to the table, anything like that? If so, I might try it one day. Howver, if not, well ...

No, it's just a puzzle and memory recall game, a little bit like Zany Touch. It kind of reminds me of a game that used to come with Windows Vista/7 that I think was aimed at very young children and you had to line up different ingredients to make a cake. This game is more involved though.

I like the Game Center support since I'm a bit of an achievement geek. I find they can add extra replay value and challenge to a game. Also like the star rankings that many mainstream mobile games use.

Agree with everyone that this game should support VoiceOver direct touch. Also think it would be cool if there were a little more variety in the things the customers say. It'd be awesome if the game could have real voice acting, but that would obviously make both the game larger and cost more.

Not the best game I've played, but a little fun diversion that I badly needed.

HI! I haven't played Blinded Chef much yet, but I can already say that I am enjoying this game. It's no problem for me that it doesn't use VoiceOver: it's great to hear a variety of voices for different customers, and we don't have to worry about whether Direct Touch is on or off. I don't think we need any extra sound effects, except perhaps the background noise of a kitchen: too many sound effects might break our concentration. I know some people prefer more complex games, but I like the fact that the gestures are simple, in normal games anyway: I haven't tried the hard core mode yet, and I won't for a while, I probably need to get a few different kinds of dishes unlocked first. This game is good fun, I think so anyway, and I'm definitely glad I bought it.

any futures that you are doing?
I am looking for some exciting action games or adventures something like it

Some of these comments make me so sad! How much do you expect from a game costing only a dollar, or a pound or whatever? Do you have any idea how much time and work goes into developing any kind of game? I agree with Clare that it's nice not to have to worry about whether Direct Touch is on and off, and I like the different voices, it adds variety. One thing which could be worked on a little is the English. i don't know how to get in contact with the developer, but I'd be happy to help with this. Sure it isn't rocket science, but it's fun, and I am not finding it easy. It has game centre support and achievement which I really like, and it's the first type of game of this type we've had. It's cool with me, that's for sure!

Possible spoilers and more thoughts now that I've unlocked everything.

I haven't noticed a difference in the regular game and the hard core game. I thought hard core might be more like an endless mode where the game ends when you mess up an order. I can pretty consistently get 5 stars on most of the dishes, but the more complex ones are harder which adds some challenge.

I also thought the random trial would have people ordering all of the dishes in random order which would keep you on your toes, but it doesn't seem to do that. It just picks one of the dishes at random and you just make it like when you play the regular levels; you just don't get to choose the dish you want. Am I missing something?

In future updates, I would like to see multiple finger swipes added for more challenge. So you could, for instance, put different sauces on the burgers and hot dogs.

I agree the way things are worded is a little bit different, but I can understand it since English is probably not the dev's first language.

This game is more addicting than I thought. I still have a few achievements left to unlock. I also find some of the orders are... interesting! Maybe they reflect tastes from other cultures, or they're just different because it's a game. Olives and eggs on a hotdog, what? lol

By ming on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

well, I like it just use diff erent speech synthes to do it.
even it is a very simple game. but, it is very good one though
keep the godo work. and make more exciting fun games

By treky fan on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

I bought this game, thinking it would be fun to play or a good time waster. I'm sorry to say this, but this game was a waste of money. Trying to play the game on an Ppad is next to impossible. Swiping around to find what you need or to select the mode you want doesn't work most of the time. When you are asked to take an order, you can't navigate threw the lists of foods you can select to make a dish. And even if you get the dish right, it takes several minutes to complete the training dish, at least it did for me.

By Ashleigh Piccinino on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

I've not played this game, see further up this thread for why. Anyway, I wonder if it'd be nice to have an Iron Cheff format ... either that or Chopped? Maybe, the narrators of those Food Network shows could come on and host the episode or something like that? I think that'd be cool with judges taking a look and taste of your food.

I really like this game. So far, I have only managed to unlock the salad dish. Looking forward to future updates, and keep up the great work.

By ming on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

I unlocked the burger.
and it has 4 ingredients
I think it is a good one to train up our memories

I really enjoyed playing this game.
I look forward to seeing what happens to it.

It does work on a ipad.

By Yvonnezed on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

I'm also really enjoying it, and also playing on an iPad without any problems. The thing to remember is that you're not actually swiping through ingredients. Left, up and down are each an ingredient, so you do something like swipe down for chicken then swipe up to choose it. Swipe left for another ingredient, swipe up to choose that.

About my only suggestion echos someone else, a random mode where every character orders a different dish would be really fun. Switching from hotdog to burger to salad etc in the one game would really stretch my brain, ☺️

By Craig on Thursday, March 25, 2021 - 10:07

I really enjoy playing this game, but I agree that some people are asking too much of the developer. I agree that a random mode would be really good, and I like the way the game is self voiced. I like the way that the different characters all have different voices and accents. Overall, I feel that the developer has done a very good job and I really enjoy playing the game. I feel that if too many sound effects were added, it would spoil the game. Also, it isn’t difficult to toggle voiceover on or off and adding voiceover support would make the game accessible to deafblind people, but it would completely change the hole atmosphere of the game. I agree that more games need to be developed to be accessible to deafblind people, but i understand that this could be difficult, depending on how long a developer has been writing apps and also cost is a factor. developers have to make a living somehow and I imagine that making a living out of writing apps that are accessible to us is very difficult, given that we are a small market compared to the mainstream market.

Loving the game. I did a demo on my tffp lbry with some voiceovers. Sorry, I was actually working on them so the audio might be a bit weird. I did better with the other demos I did though.

Yes. I agree with you. People have to calm down. I also agree with your feedback. If these things could be fixed, then this game will become even more great. :-)
