Hello world! I noticed that since the last Facebook update the back button or the back button on the previous page, with VoiceOver I can't find it anymore. if I enter a post and want to leave I can't find the return button. Likewise, if I enter a notification and I want to go back, the button is not in its place. Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you very much!

Hi, Yes FB v306 and the back buttons have vanished. Not a major problem as a two finger scrub takes you back. HTH

Hello. In previous Facebook versions, once you clicked on a post, there also was an option, or better to say a link in the post to view a person's/page's/group's profile and see their profile and posts. As of the latest update, it's no longer there. Has anyone noticed that?

Likely they changed something which then broke an aspect of accessibility. Someone brings it to their attention and they will likely fix it. That's sometimes the nature of bug fixes. Fix one bug and two more pop up.

I am not very troubled with the main posted challenge; if you wish to address it, you should write to Facebook I remember that there is a group on Facebook that takes such feedback and observations on accessibility and addresses it...
I hate it when I watch a video on Facebook watch getting back is a pain. Sometimes I have to close the app. to be able to get back to my timeline, post that I was reading. Should try the 2 finger scrub gesture on it sometime it might just do the trick

Yeah thanks for the tip about the two finger scrub. I still hope they get it fixed, because I am just so used to looking for a back button all the time, but at least for now, the scrub works.
Where are the birthdays
I’m also experiencing all the other issues on FB and also struggling to find the birthdays on the app. Has anyone worked out where they are?

The birthdays can be found in notifications. But if you're looking for upcoming birthdays I'm not sure where to find that. I only see that when a birthday notification pops up and if you swipe to the right you should find upcoming birthdays. Facebook did put another update out last week but the back button is still missing.

The only thing I can think of is maybe you should either restart your phone or delete and reinstall the app. I always get notifications. The only thing is that even though I have a sound effect set for it, it doesn't play when I get a notification.
