the gift function does not work in the App Store

on my iPhone 12 with iOS 14.4 The function of giving an app in the App Store, does not work. I tried a 6s and so on. And the latter with the same iOS 14.4. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it known to Apple? The moment I access the gift button, everything freezes. Thanks.

I think that whole section is broken. I tried to add funds to my Apple ID a couple of weeks ago and there were some serious issues.
