For those who live in the UK and have an Apple TV 4th or latest generation. Are you able to get the audio description category to show up on the ITV Hub app. If it does appear on the Apple TV, does it provide the audio description track along with the program you are watching.
So far, I have been unsuccessful in trying to get AD content to play through the ITV Hub app. With the acception of Iphone and Ipad. So I was wondering would it work on an Apple TV box.

Audio description
Iām pretty sure audio description on ITV hub is not currently supported on the Apple TV app unfortunately, like you say it does work on iPhone and iPad but there is no audio description section on the ITV hub Apple TV app, and unlike the all for app, audio description is not automatic if turned on in the Apple TV settings
I have contacted ITV previously about this although was a while ago, and just got a bog standard reply with no real information
Is there a diference between ITV and BBC Iplayer?
I've tried downloading bbc IPlayer on IOS and it works fine, do you get more on ITV? I mean what shows are their on ITV that there aren't on bbc IPlayer that are audio described?
I could go and just download it and see for myself :) but I'll see if I get a response first.
differences between BBC and ITV

BBC and ITV are different networks, each with their own content. You'll not find any shows that are the same between the two. If you want shows from both networks, you would need both apps. :)
Audio description differences
BBC audio description is everywhere. By the web, using a chromecast, on iPhone and iPad you get the idea.
Contrast this to ITv which, for now seems only to be present on device. Example iPhone or iPad. Obviously, this is better than nothing but what if I wanted to watch something on the ITV hub with another person on an actual TV.
Hence, asking about if an Apple TV had it on board the device to stream to a TV. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case.
