Hi,

Because I need Windows for some applications, I need to Boot Camp.

My question is: How can I Boot Camp my Mac without sighted assistance?

My Mac model is a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012), running macOS Catalina.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have a good day and stay safe.

hello,

it is completely possible to bootcamp with no sited help. from the Mac site, bootcamp is fully accessible in macOS Catalina. their is a bug in Big Sur where the partition slider is not read by VoiceOver, so your fortunes you haven't upgraded at this time. anyway, you'll have to download a windows 10 ISO file. then the bootcamp should automatically detect where that file is and offer to use it. then partition your drive. since your Mac is a 2012 model, you'll need a flash drive, with the iso on it. then it will download the bootcamp software, and restart your Mac. after that, plug in wired headphones and press control-windows-enter. then use Narrator to complete installation. after windows installs, the bootcamp installer will load. install that to get all Mac hardware components working in windows and then check for software updates in windows with apple software updates. you need all of these, especially bootcamp 6.1, as this update fixes a longstanding issue with the apple file system. after all updates are applied, you are good to go. in the free window 10 license, you get notifications in action centre too activate, and you can't change any personalization settings.
