Home Quest, how do you break even?

Hello,
I'm of course playing the Home Quest game, retrieved from the GAA voting site earlier this month--you know the one, I hope. it takes a lot of time and stuff to build up the resources to build new houses and things, so in the meantime, how do you break even/have even numbers of workers for your different plants/properties? Also, I sure wish there would be a way to temporarily move some workers from town to town. I've spoken with the dev team about what I think's a possible bug in the "waiting" screen in the army units. however, they've not gotten back to me. are they still in buisness on this game/have they set up shop somewhere else and no longer work on it? the bug I'm speaking of is when you have to click on the "waiting ..." number beside the train button. I've had to click this to get the status bar on the number of army units being trained to even move lots of times. This app's good but could use some improvements in my oppinion.

I'm already braking even. Just overpower yourself on population, farms, bricks etc. Granted I've only played for about 3 hours, but it's quite fun.

Hello,
I still think the "waiting" feature in the army screens is a bug as I still have to click in there to get the time moving for training people. I'm to where I can build plantations but, of course, not having the sand and people to build. Sure wish there could be more than two monuments in a town/wish you knew how to transfer workers from town to town, as a temporary helper ya know?

I figured it out. Attack the settlements worlds and click the plus button. you will need 5k bricks, wood and food or something like that to transfer people.

Hello,
I'm doing that, but I still wish that more people could be transfered as everything seems to be built by now, except for the plantations--can't do that without sand and the glass shop. one of my towns has 84 people and the other's got 64 so far. pretty fun game but like all resource-building games, it can be confusing.

The subject says it, so read that. I've finally beaten the ogre kingdom, and now, I'm wondering how to get the orinmentation and mercury for having knights. of course, all other army "units" are filled--don't have ? in them any more, that is. still can't build but two monuments, though.

Hello everyone who’s playing. I’ve had to start again for the third time. I guess I just don’t know how to properly play this without some kind of manual or something which explians how many of something you need—like your loggers and people who mine stones. It’s a fun game, but very frustrating to not have the resources.

As others have said; it's best to over do it. The game tells you to get 1 farm, make 5, that kind of thing.

The subject says it all, so am I playing the wrong title? I'm not getting any feedback on how many of something to build. I just do it when I think I need to. Once again, there needs to be some kind of manual or something. That's one reason why I don't really like resource-building games but they're okay.

The subject says it all, so read that. I'll just keep playing how I am now, praying I'm doing the right thing. of course, it's your story ... sort of, so ...

Hello,
I got this game off the Golden Apple Awards--GAA page for this year but Home Quest was listed as a winner last year. why would my copy of the game be different than yours, then?

Like I say i've not played the game in a while but if you think back have you seen no text in the game at all about building a farm, then houses, then a monument? Cause if you happen; either you're looking in the wrong place or are playing a different game but that playing a diferent game option doesn't make sense to me...

Can you tell me what tabs you have at the bottom of your screen? Perhaps I can help you there?

By Ashleigh Piccinino on Thursday, February 25, 2021 - 10:04

All the information's on the "log" tab, and yes, it's all right. I just don't read the log much ... just play the game. However, I'll read this time and figure out how to properly do things.

So, someone told me you can transfer workers from town to town. Is this true and how do I do this? I keep starting the game over sometimes to try to do different strategies to get further but I still need help getting more stone. That is the only thing I always am super low on. Any suggestions?

Add more people, to the quarry mean because that is the only way how you can get more stone. And don’t add a lot of people to storm works because Stoneworks will only give you bricks.

This game sounds interesting. What is it about? Do you build towns, design buildings, etc? Do your people have babies?

Thanks!

I am going to realocate my workers so they can get leather and armor to get my army together to start the missions. but I don't know what to do once i get that second land because without a hundred population i can't settle it.

According to the game, your monuments increase your building cap by two at least, so how many do you have so far? That is for monuments, not buildings.
