In the control list after you've selected a show or movie, but before you play it there is an audio and subtitle option. Under audio, audion descriptionwill be there if it's available. You can also select it from the audio and subtitles option while the video is p laying, but keep in mind that the controls hide themselves, so you may need to double tap to make them appear first.
Remy: Where is located the control list that you mentioned? Is that available in the iPhone app? I’m interested in knowing because I always had started playing the video to find out if AD is available, since I haven’t found how to dind out any other way.
Hello. You can go to the setting>accessibility>audio-description. where you will find the button for turning on the audio-description where ever you will get. Thanks.
For Netflix it works just fine, but for other services, Disney plus and Amazon Prime come to mind, at least, those are the ones I'm familiar with, and having audio description on in the settings doesn't stick.
You have to look for the audio described track after you've hit play.
